Pregnant after 35

Anyone else not having an increase in breast size?

Ok, at first my breasts seemed to get a little bigger but nothing dramatic but I thought oh well it will happen later. It hasn't. (leave it to me to not get the one good side effect of being pregnant) I was never small but I thought there would be some change. I am concerned that this is some indication on my ability to breastfeed. Anyone else not growing? I plan to ask ob about it next week but its really been bothering me the last few days. I am litterally in the same bras I had pre pregnancy.

Sadly I was in the same boat as you. My breasts got a bit fuller, but I could still fit into my pre pregnancy bras. I am not breast feeding (can't due to BP meds I am on), but I will tell you that it took a few more days after I gave birth for my milk to come in and then my bras were the perfect size to keep me compressed and supported to help them dry up faster. I figured I was a late bloomer to have my first child so it figued that my boobs would be the same! LOL

P.S. Sorry if that didn't answer your question, just wanted you to know that you were not alone.

So far mine have not changed significantly, but I'm a DD to start with.  I think they've gotten a bit fuller, but so far no need to go up a bra size or anything.  I figure I've still got some time for these suckers to blow up, but I have to say, I'd be pretty happy if they didn't.  I have a friend who is pretty small and wtih her first she didn't change at all, but with her second, she said she had porn star boobs, so who knows!

Hardly anything - look on the bright side - no sagging or stretch marks.  And, no, it has no effect on BF'ing. You can be flat as a board and produce more than enough milk.

Mine haven't changed size too much.  They are fuller, but I am just barely out of my 36Cs.  I have been wearing MM sportsbra nursing bras for about a month now because it was just too uncomfortable to have underwires on and I needed something more supportive, sometimes even for sleeping because despite not growing too much, they can still get pretty sore at time.  I hope it doesn't effect my ability to bf as I am really hoping I can do that for at least the first 3 months.

Mine haven't gotten any bigger, but they were gigantic to begin with(32G). My only concession was needing to get the mat bras without underwires because of my enormous bump.

Thankfully mine didn't increase. I'm a 38C, so I really don't want them any bigger.

I've gone up a band size and a few cup sizes.  I started 34DD/E, now I'm 36F/G.  I *wish* they had just stayed as they were!

No I got jipped also. I am now able to fit into some B size bras, but not even all! I was hoping for a large B. Oh well. But everything I have read says it has no effect on ability to breastfeed. Iwonder what they will look like engorged.

Mine are large to begin with and have not grown.  I hear that sometimes if you had big ones to begin with, you may not see the increase as much, but just wait until your milk comes in...they will grow at that time.

In the same bra's as before.. never really changed size in any of my pregnancies until post birth.. but then only went up a cup size while nursing. & I am small anyway ; (  but at least they are fuller while pregnant/nursing.

BTW - never had a problem with milk production!

I was a small B but now a big B. I was hoping for a C (LOL!) I am in the same bras but I just fill them out better.

My breasts didn't grow until after my daughter was born, and they only grew from a very small B to a small C. I am now 16 weeks into pregnancy #2 and I think it's going the same way--small breasts, but tummy starting to show finally. I think having smaller breasts throughout the pregnancy makes me look smaller all around--my friends who grew substantially in the chest area felt HUGE and uncomfortable.

I am in my regular bras too although my breasts have grown a little bigger. I am not planning to breastfeed so no concerns there, but I believe your breast size has no impact on your ability to breastfeed.

No.  Quite the opposite.  I was a modest B prepregnancy.  I am now a DD and my back hurts, bras are too tight and they look silly.

I wish! I'm an A cup and was hoping to at least go up to B, but hasn't happened yet. The only thing growing is my back, so now my bras as tight in the back but not the cup size. I might have to get maternity bras just b/c all my bras have underwire and they're killing me now that my bump is bigger. It's good that cup size doesn't affect milk production b/c I wonder where the heck all that milk is going to come from if my boobs are small. We'll see I guess!
