2nd Trimester

Embarrassing question.... (tmi!)

I'm 26 weeks.... and now I have found that my belly is getting SOOO big I'm having issues reaching to wipe (sorry!!!) after I go pee.

Anyone else have this issue?

  • Yes, not when going pee, but after a poop.

Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!

  • Yup. In my case I think it is the shear size of my a**. That and the fact that if you lean forward on the toilet seat in my bathroom the seat pinches your leg. It hurts.

I am buying a new seat that isn't such flimsy plastic and I am trying extra hard to reach.

I am also wiping from the back and patting dry from the front (not wiping as that could increase your chances of a bladder infection).

  • Well, since it's a tmi post anyway, if it's too hard to reach through the front of your legs to wipe, reach your arm around behind you and wipe from front to back (healthier for your bladder anyway).  If you're already doing that it's still too difficult- you're SOL!  hee hee hee.....  sorry, don't know what other advice to tell ya.  I remember having that problem with my DS....  can't remember what I did.  Get a bidet (sp?)?

  • no, but I don't have T-rex arms lol! (sorry - no offense I just couldn't resist the visual)

  • I dont have the problem yet and I don't recall having that problem with my first pregnancy.  But I do remember when I'd go to the Dr's office and they wanted a urine sample not being able to see if i'm peeing into the cup or not.  Man was that a pain in the butt.
  • I've started to have that issue too! It depends on where the baby is situated though. If it is hanging out really low I find it harder!
