DH and I are very ambivalent at this point. IF we choose to TTC, we will most likely shoot for a 3-year difference. Would love to hear general opinions on only children...
I am an only child. When I was a kid, it did get lonely sometimes but I had a ton of friends who lived on the same street; and I learned to be independent. Now that I'm older, I don't like it as much. I have some really close friends that are like sisters to me, but I do feel like something is missing.

I have two and want more! We plan on doing a FET this winter. If that isn't successful we'll just be trying on our own although secretly I'm trying to figure out if we'd be able to afford another IVF.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
Our DD is 21 months now. I have the itch to start at least talking about a timeframe for #2 but DH is not ready yet. He is a SAHD so he has more of the day-to-day responsibility of taking care of DD.
I'd like them to be somewhere between 2.5-3.25 years apart, ideally. I wish DH would want to discuss it, but it just stresses him out too much at the moment (he also takes on freelance work, which keeps him sane but also makes him crazy). He is on board with having at least one more, but the discussion as to when will have to wait. So I love to "discuss" it on here! I can see pros to waiting a little longer (especially relative to work) but at the same time, I feel that itch! Age-wise we have time though, I'm only 30.
I would like to have 2 or 3. Take 'em as they come and then evaluate how we feel.

My two girls will be about 27 months apart. I think we are done after this, but DH keeps talking about a #3. I'm not so sure. I think being a working mom, having 2 will be a struggle enough. If I do have a third, I'd want a bigger gap - maybe 3-4 years after #2. And I am already 32, so that would put me at 35-36 and I'm just not sure I'd want to get pregnant then. So...I think 2 and through will be it!
Re: another poll: when (if ever) do you plan on having another LO?

This Cluttered Life
I love this poll and reading all the responses.
