Ovarian cyst while pregnant

I was told a little over 4 weeks I had an ovarian cyst.  I was actually in for an abdominal u/s to check for that or appendicitis, and they found a small cyst.  They thought it'd go away, but it still bothers me occasionally, but these last two days have been even worse!  I don't know if it grew or what.  I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow morning, so I'm going to talk to her then, but it's just annoying me, so I wanted to vent about it.  Anyone else have an ovarian cyst that is bothering them?

I had a 5cm cyst that was pretty painful.  Sometimes it hurt just to stand or walk.  It was the very worst around week 16 and then it seemed to get better.  At my big u/s it had decreased in size by half and I haven't had pain from it since week 17 or so.  The doc told me they either rupture or shrink and there is really nothing that can be done.  Also, they rarely cause real problems with the pregnancy and can actually be hormonally beneficial.

I had a small cyst that appeared during my 7 week u/s.  It was a type of cyst that was caused during ovulation/fertilization that typically goes away.  Mine did.  I would try not to worry about it, especially if your doctor was confident that yours will go away too.

I have have a left ovarian cyst that is the same size on my 20 week u/s as it was on the 8 week u/s.  It hurts sometimes but like the girls said above, it shouldn't affect the pregnancy.  That is unless it ruptures cause there is always a risk of infection.
