Do you even DO any of your own research before coming here? I mean, every single post you start is a goddamn question.
Do you form any opinions on your own, or do you do anything internet strangers tell you to? Would you jump off a bridge if we told you that was the best thing for you?
::waits patiently for response::
Re: I*heart*him ... seriously.
seriously I am so stressed out by this stroller thing. I read consumer reports, babies r us, target, and I don't know what is the best thing travel system, no travel system.
I went and tried them out. And really don't see a difference in a lot of them..that's why I ask
This. Ignore the snarky people. They must be bored tonight. :0)
?
dude, its just a stroller... and if you are freaking out this much about that, you are in for a real big surprise once you have a baby?
you'd think they have babies to take care of!!!! sheesh.
This is not simple snarkiness. The same asinine posts on a daily basis, and most of them are repeats from the day before.
I would suggest at least coming to the boards with some options- asking which stroller to buy isn't going to get you anywhere. But if you ask, for example, which strollers within a certain price range, or which out of several choices people would recommend, you are going to get much more helpful answers.
Just b/c she wants others opinions doesn't make her lazy. Like I tell everyone, if you don't like the heading just DON'T open the post!
::falls over, laughing::
No, posting the same question over and over again does.
it is unnecessary, though, to ask people's opinions on the same topic multiple times a week, which she really likes to do.
It is her right though and you all can just as easily IGNORE THEM! There is nothing in the Bump rules that says you can't ask questions repeatedly.
It is on all of the boards... for example the other board I mod, I see the same posters ask the same questions in different forms about say Clomid in 15 different ways in a week or there are the ladies who ask about convertible carseats and milk transitioning on the tot boards over and over again. It is their right and it is yours to either open and reply constructively or ignore it.
same goes for you and everyone else's comments, don't you think?
Actually I was asked to co-mod this board by the Bump and my job is to look at posts like this and try to keep things from getting out of hand or mean-spirited. That is the point of my comments.
seriously? do they pay you??
Isn't this a position you applied for? I remember the posting from Bump Liz a month or so back...
i'm not really sure expressing frustration about the same person asking the same question multiple times a week is mean-spirited, but i guess some people are more sensitive than others.
and olive berry, pretty sure you're right about applying to be a mod.
so less of being asked and more of volunteering.
Wait wait wait - you were "asked" to co-mod the board, as in the bump gods said "you know who we need as a mod? that francisca chick, lets call and ask her".. OR you applied to be a mod and they said okay..
Asking a bunch of women not to be annoyed by the repetitive posts of the same subject over and over and over again and not to be snarky = losing battle. You should just go ahead and resign from your "job" now I think.
It's right up there with the "job" of hall monitor.
