2nd Trimester

swim wear vent

I guess i'm just oddly shaped. I had to get a large because the medium was NOT going to work with my boobs. the large bottoms actually fit much more comfortably than the mediums. The large top even covered everything that needs to be covered and for the first time I didn't feel like I was going to fall out of the top. So I bought it and took it home and tried it on without underwear and a bra (I won't do that until I buy it because I don't think it's hygenic) and found that the width in the top was WAY to big, everything else fit perfect, except for the area around the ribcage. So I will either have to take it in, or just pin it in the back.

I can NEVER find a top that fits right.

  • I bought one this weekend at a consignment store $8

  • Have you tried non-maternity? I found that Target's tankinis work just fine. I'm short so I don't need the length though.

yes, I actually used to work there and found the pre-pregnancy even the XL did not cover enough of my chest to feel comfortable, I felt like (and have but luckily no one saw) fallen out of them... there are a couple of online stores that make tops specifically for large chested women but they cost a pretty penny, and I live in western washington where unless you go to an indoor pool you only wear a swimsuit for two months out of the year, so it's not a worthwhile investment.
