Question: Sex & Sleeping on Right side

in 2nd Trimester

Hi ladies. I wanted to know if any of you have felt baby move like crazy after sex.  Last night after sex he was moving like crazy.  I couldn't believe it.  I was laying on right side too.  I thought i once read something about left side being a better side for baby.  So i rolled over and he slowly calmed down.  It was wild.  Has this happened to anyone else?  TIA..

    not so much moving after sex but my belly gets very very hard at the top of the fundus and i've felt him drop down afterward.

    My baby moves when I lay on my side. It doesn't matter which side I lay on.

    Apparently laying on your left side is better for blood flow.  You have a major artery running on your right side that can be affected if you lay on it.  I don?t know how much this matters as my doctor said sleep however is comfortable for you.  It is true but she doesn?t think it is a big deal.
