PSA: cheap shorts

I bought these shorts a while back from Forever 21 and finally wore them yesterday.  They work great as maternity shorts, you can fold over the waistband or pull it up like a Secret-Fit belly.  And they're super cheap!  I bought one size up from my pre-preg size.

very cute!  How do they fit?  Are they wider in the leg area?  Do they shrink at all?  I'm just going to order a pair or two and not sure what size to get, I am normally a small, but don't know if I should get a med or large?  Maybe I'll get one of each, lol, I can always return them!

Just be aware that their return policy kind of sucks. You'd have to return by mail to get a refund, so you end up paying shipping twice on a $10 pair of shorts.

I've gotten a bunch of stuff there! It's somewhat sad that teenager/20-something clothes look so much like maternity clothes!! Lucky us!

I'm not sure about shrinkage, I haven't washed them yet.  When I first put them on, I felt like I should have gotten a size bigger but they did seem to give a little after a couple hours (DH assured me that they looked fine and no, I didn't look fat).  I'm usually a small too and got a medium.

Also for their return policy, you can return online orders to the store for store credit.  I know I can always find something else to buy there.  I've actually gotten quite a few long, stretchy tops that work well with the belly.

great to know!  I think I might order some tonight and like you said, just take them to the store if they don't fit right, I can always get something else, they have a bunch of stretchy cotton dresses that are super cute!  Thanks again for the PSA hun!
