I ended up winning the TV battle

Right now we have a tv in our LOs room. I didn't want it there at all-I don't want it there when I am feeding the baby, or for when LO gets bigger and can start pressing things, etc. DH and I had a pretty big argument on this, but he finally agreed half heartedly....

After our huge thunderstorm and weekend where the power was out all weekend, we turned on the TV in our bedroom and the colors are totally shot. Everyone is either green or purple! So, the TV that was in LOs room comes in ours...ahh no more argument and then it feels like no one "lost"...

lol that is great!!! who needs a tv for a newborn anyway! It was a sign!!!

exactly my thought. DH wanted entertainment for himself while feeding the baby, but I'm planning on BF-ing. So, I'm sure when I BF I'm also going to change the baby as well...so, the time that DH would be in that bedroom with baby (and unable to go into another room) would be very little! It was a pointless argument!

Congrats on your victory!  

DH wants a TV and a couch in LO's room.  I vetoed those right away.  We'll have a rocker or glider, or something soft to sit in, but it's not a lounge for him to chill in... it's a baby's room.
