I had them really bad (like 4 in a 20 minute walk) for a few days around 16 or 17 weeks and called the OB and she said I was most likely dehydrated and to put my feet up and drink at least 32 oz of water. That helped a lot. I still get the painful ones occasionally if I'm outside on my feet for too long but sitting down and drinking water usually helps.
Be sure to drink lots and lots of water the weather is getting hot and if you are not getting enough water it can cause contractions. I would talk to your doc about it just to be on the safe side but drink lots of water.
