After 2 girls, it's a boy!

Me and DH have 2 girls, Ava almost 7 and Carys almost 2 and everyone was always asking us when I got pregnant this time, you hoping it's a boy? well not really. We want more kids so it didn't matter. Well I went in for an emergency u/s at 17 1/2 weeks because I've been having thirdbabyitis(cramping severely almost the whole pregnancy), everything looked fine, they can't figure out what it is, I do have irritable uterus so probably just that. Anyhoo, she says, well lets see if the baby will show us, she put the wand down there and right on the screen in front of me, she goes "do you know what that is?" I literally screamed outloud "OMG IT'S A BOY!" I've gotten used to seeing the 3 little white lines, DH didn't know what from what but he wasn't overly excited either, men. Everyone keeps asking him, oh are you happy you get your boy now? he says, no, I like my girls. lol. There was no leaning towards it being 80%, 90% etc, this was 100% undeniably a boy. I'll post a pic on my siggy as soon as I get my name off the u/s pic lol. I'm so excited, I've loved dressing my girls, now it's almost like it's been more fun buying for him already! Oh and his name is Easton Michael, after the hockey and baseball company(dh is a hockey and baseball player, i'm a hockey player)

Awe! Congrats! thats awesome!

 Thats how it was in my family. It was 2 boys then a girl. I was the middle girl! It was great! We all loved it.

Congratulations!! LOL at your DH's reaction!  I have a friend who just named their baby boy Easton - for the same reasons you did!! I think it's cute

Congrats!  We are in the same boat. 2 girls, this one is a boy.  I've been super crampy with this one.  And we got all the same comments from people about having a boy this time.  We are definitely excited now, but originally we both assumed it would be another girl, so it took us a bit of time to get used to the idea of there being a boy around the house.
