Colostrum. I has it.

Noticed while taking my evening bath. Wonderful.

Does this mean I will leak through my bras? I recently purchased a few new bras and of course I decided to get soft cups instead of my usual industrial foam lined ones. I'm not ready to wear breast pads, lol.

Re: Colostrum. I has it.

  • It really depends.  Did you try to hand express anything?  The warm water can often make you leak or spray even if you wouldn't usually.

It's a tough call, and you won't really know til it happens or it doesn't.

  • I started that around the same time too, but it stopped pretty quickly. I didn't have to use pads at all. Only happens once in a while and usually at night, after shower or bath.

  • Hand expression??? That cracks me up.

I noticed something on my nipple and upon closer inspection w/slight pressure more came out and I was then sure it was in fact colostrum.

  • I've had it since about week 25, it's increased, but not to the point of going through my bras. Everyone is different though. At night though, I have to wear a sports bra or it will leak onto the sheets. Yeah, that was not nice. Just check your bras when you take them off in the evening, if you notice that it's getting to be a larger amount, look into the thin pads. GL!
