soooo...what's the verdict on Self-Tanner?

lots of debate on 1st trimester when i was on there weeks ago.

  • My Dr says it's a no...not even the gradual tan lotions.

  • As long as you aren't drinking it I can't see the problem. I've been using it.

    I highly recommend Loreal Sublime Glow for those interested.

  • I asked 2 of the 5 doctors in the practice, 3 nurses, and a neonatologist (family friend) and they all said that it is okay to use self tanners in moderation.

  • my doctor said it was fine...his only concern was with the "mystic tan" type booths b/c you're breathing in the chemicals.

  • Just asked my OB this yesterday at my appointment and he said there wasn't enough tests done on this to be sure but he told me to be on the safe side and skip it.
