2nd Trimester

undies...

Ok, my undies are too tight.  WTF?!  My ass is not supposed to be getting bigger - just my belly!

Those who have this issue, did you just buy a size larger?

Re: undies...

  • Yes, I went up a size. I am not saying my ass got bigger, I am going with my hips got wider. It at least sounds like I am not eating my way to a bigger ass.
  • Haven't gotten there yet but i was told it would happen! Though I am rather annoyed that it got smaller during 1st tri! Tongue Tied

  • I bought a bigger size at first but now they are too small again.  I am considering just buying the maternity kind.  They are supposed to be stretchier so that you don't have to keep buying new sizes

  • I had to totally rock the larger granny panties!  My hips and butt seemed to grow overnight, so my cute little bikinis were history by 18-20 weeks.  Oh well...here's to hoping they'll fit in a few months!  Stick out tongue
  • I just went up a size in my thongs -- it was mostly cutting in the sides so Im going with my hips and belly are wider. Im dreading moving to granny panties, but the CM is getting outa control
  • I say it's your hips spreading, not your ass growing.  I had that problem, bought a bigger size, but they were really saggy in the butt.  I bought the "one size fits all" kind at Motherhood and they are heaven!!  They have bikini, thong and brief.  I got the bikini's and they are SO comfortable, that's all I wear now.  And they really are one size fits all.  My SIL wore them during her pregnancy and she's a size 10, and I'm a size 20.  They aren't too expensive either 3/$15

  • I went up a size...normally I get a small from VS and I bought a bunch of medium at the semi-annual sale.  They are a little baggy in the butt as of now, but with the way I am growing out from the front and the back, they might fit in a week or so lol!  (I hope not!!!)

  • I bought like 6 pairs of XL boy shorts from Old Navy and they rock.

  • I broke down and bought some "2 in 1" style pg panties from Thyme maternity and I LOVE them.  They are super comfortable and you can wear them like bikini style or like a over the belly brief, whichever you find more comfy.  They are super stretchy so hopefully they will take me til the end.

When my regular undies started getting to snug I got the maternity thongs from Motherhood a size up.

  • mine aren't really tight but the fronts of them have decided to roll down my bell.  i had to wear a size bigger just so they don't move on me.  :-)

this.  and i'm hoping to god that my hips go back to the size they were before.  or else my pp pants won't fit.  apparently along w/my bras and fabulously cute (and expensive) shoe collection.  and no, i am not okay w/it just b/c i'm pregnant.  (those comments really bug me!)

  • I only wear thongs, so can't relate in the butt dept, but when mine started sliding or rolling down my bump, I bought the maternity kind.  They are a little expensive for my taste, but definately comfy.

  • I bought a size bigger at first, but then those started to feel tight on my butt, so I just broke down and bought some maternity undies. So glad I did, too...I'm much more comfy now.
  • Ha! Mine started rolling under my bump and it's getting really annoying. I'm just too cheap to go and get maternity undies.
