I got all new blinds for my house, and of course there is ONE window that measures 42X72 and I can't find any blinds in town that match this! Unless I want to pay extra (which I'm really trying hard not to do) to get one custom made. Ugh!
We just used curtains for our picture window which is an odd dimension. Eventually we coughed up the $ for custom blinds, but not right away.

We are buying a house that needs all new blinds....I am not looking forward to that!
I found a place online that seems to be reasonably priced. I ordered some samples of the faux wood blinds and they seem nice. It's selectblinds.com, but I have not ordered from them so I can't atest to their customer service or shipping yet.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and have them cut off the ends of a longer one. It's free. Or at least, it's free around here..
Nice advice...let's hope it's free here too!
