Did/Will you and DH do something on your EDD?

I'm thinking that I should do something positive that day, but want some ideas if others did something special.

DH and I didn't do anything to big. I lit a special candle that day, but that was about it. Will you be doing anything?

ours is sept 26th....I am not sure how that day will go....Hopefulyl by then I can say I am pg again, and it wouldn't be as bad.........even though if we do get pg by then...we will not tell anyone until prob thanksgiving or christmas. Smile

Do do something positive. It helps a lot. For my EDD #1 we went out to dinner, and during dinner made list of all the things we wanted to do this year (I know hokey - but we love setting plans, and crazy ideas) - so it made us focus on us, and continuing to try.

For EDD#2 - we were on vacation with my parents and sister - so didn't do anything special - but I treated myself to a massage purposely on that day - just to have some me time.

No, we didn't anything special together. I wrote in my pregnancy journal and in general tried to stay busy.

I like the idea of lighting a candle. I'm hoping to be pg by then, but who knows. Not really sure what else to do. Maybe I nice dinner or something.

I hadn't even thought about it. My DH is a "move along" kinda guy, so I doubt it will even occur to him to do something that day. I will probably do something that only I will know about. Hopefully DH will be in town so I dont have to be alone, otherwise I will be bumping non-stop that day.

DH gave me a necklace and a very sweet card on our baby bean's EDD (12/31). The pendant is round with baby footprints in in, with "Wonderfully and fearfully made; Baby S 12/31/08"

We cried and cried but it was very sweet. Not very uplifting, sorry!

We had an early Xmas dinner (EDD was 12/21) with one set of IL's. I was grateful, because it kept my mind off of it.

ours is on tuesday...I don't know what we are doing. Dh is in the marines and is taking two weeks of vacation time starting on saturday to be home with me for it. We have a camping trip scheduled for Thursday-Sunday. I think I will probably get some balloons and write a letter for her and release it in the air. Other then that I think we are going to try to go to the baseball game and do something fun with the kids to get our mind off of it as best as possible.

DH and i still have not been on any kind of honeymoon, mc was nine days before our wedding, so i told him thats what we are doing lol. i dont care where we are or what we are doing but i will not be at work that week. EDD was 10/09
