I am asking on this board because through most of my research it seems that grants are state based......

I am looking at applying for grants to start my own business. My question is do you know of a site that has Texas or other Woman's grants that you dont have to pay for the information. I know it is free some where I am just having problems finding it. IOWAs is so easy to find. The deadline is in about 2 weeks for this year and I am starting to get frusrated. The federal goverment doesnt have any for the state of texas other than agriculture, I am not the farmer type.
