2nd Trimester

I really wish I could feel this baby more

I'm so beyond the point of being impatient, now I'm just sad that I feel her so rarely :( I've been feeling her for weeks now, but it still hasn't graduated from the little pops and twitches to anything bigger. And I've only been able to feel her on the outside once. I know I have an anterior placenta, so I'm sure that's the reason and she's fine, but it just bums me out. She's had a growth spurt in the past couple of days, so I'm hoping feeling the big kicks and moves are just around the corner.

Anyone else in the 2nd half of 2nd tri and still not feel their LO much?

  • I am in the same boat. ?This anterior placenta sure gives some cushion.I get mostly just tiny little?movement?feelings. ?Last night though, I had three big kicks that you could see, so that was exciting, too bad she stopped before DH got to witness it or feel it. ?It is sad, but we still have some time, and I am sure it will pick up soon. ?
  • I'm in the same situation.  I also have an anterior placenta and was totally freaked before the big u/s b/c I could hardly feel him at all!  Now, although I know that is the issue, it's still hard to not get impatient.  The u/s tech said that it could be 25 or 26 wks before I really start feeling strong movements from him. :(
