So I am very slowly gaining back the weight I lost from my first tri but I don't feel like I'm any more hungry then normal so it has been kind of hard to get enough calories in! Is there a point when you just had a bigger appetite? I'm trying so hard to gain a couple lbs before my appt next Monday cause I really don't want to be told that I'm not gaining enough or something.
Re: Not feeling any more hungry?
I barely kept down breakfast, I don't feel like dinner and yet in the middle of the day I pounded a foot long chicken sub in under an hour.
It comes and goes. I am still one pound lighter than where I started this crazy journey.
I was 114lbs before I got pregnant and in the morning I have been weighing around 108.5lbs the last 4 days or so. I got down to 106 as my low.
Don't worry about it. Try to eat healthy meals and stop weighing yourself.
Unless you do something insane like diet and starve yourself, the baby will be just fine. The baby will take what it needs from your body.
I was just talking about this with someone at work today. I'm not crazy hungry like everyone thinks I should be. I'm as hungry as I ever was. I think it's because I'm a snacker so I'm never completely "empty". I've gained about 16 lbs since being pregnant. My doc hasn't said anything about my weight gain so I assume I'm doing ok. My mom, however, is obsessed that I'm not eating enough. I told her I'm not having a full sized man - I'm having a baby!
