It looks nice, but i hate to be such a mum....is it really a good idea? As your belly gets bigger aren't you going to have a greater chance of getting it caught on something, or the hole getting infected?

Sorry to be a party pooper!
The PG piercings have flexible bars. They sort of bend with your growing belly. There really isn't any more risk of getting caught on anything than a regular piercing when not pregnant

Not really...that's the point of getting a maternity belly ring. The ring is extra long and made of plastic, so that's its not so uncomfortable.
They are made of hospital grade teflon, come in 2 inch length you can cut to size. They do recommend paying attention to it as you belly expands because of course the bar will shift and possible move dirt or whatnot into the hole. They just saw about making sure you keep it clean with mild soap and water like you would have when first pierced.
As for the classiness factor, to each his own. To me, why is it any differnt if you are this age and not pregnant? You could say that about pregnant women wearing a bikini or showing tatoos. It's not hurting you or the baby, so if you wanna bling your bump, why not?

I think it looks adorable! I love the little foot prints. Great choice. If you are like me, you have had a piercing for so long that it seems weird to not have it. I am going to get a maternity ring soon.
I love my belly ring. I tend to think that an in tact belly piercing is classier looking than a starburst pregnancy stretch mark where a piercing used to be

Oooh! Very cute!
I wanted that one, but every other maternity belly ring cost $8-$10, and this one was selling for $20...I couldn't do it!

I got mine for $5 off of an ebay store.

Yeah, I cut about 1/3 off. Its still a bit longer than I would like, but I figured I should leave some stretching room, just in case. ?
