Saw your post below and just wanted to let you know that BB&B has a very lenient return policy. I return stuff there all the time without a receipt - might be worth a shot!

You can also pick up some lollipops while you're there.

Brilliant!  I will give it a shot.  I wish I still had the packaging is the only thing.  It might be kind of weird to walk in there with a white noise machine and no box.

I've returned a defective scale and showerhead without the packaging or a receipt and it wasn't a problem. Good luck!
