Question about RhoGAM

I know that I will need to get a RhoGAM shot. How soon do I need to do this? How long does the shot stay in your system? They gave me one in Dec during my mc but I don't know if it would still be there or not.

    You don't get the rhogam shot until you are closer to 3rd tri...unless you have m/c which you will NOT have to worry about!

    it lasts for about 12 weeks so the one from december is out of you by now.  you will get one at about 28 weeks and then again within 72 hrs of delivery.

    Ok great thanks ladies. The ER doc made it seem like as soon as I find out that I am pregnant I need the shot. Of course that could have just been me reading into things thinking that I/ my blood type caused the mc.

    I know that this is really bad but I don't remember. All I know is that I am negative and DH positive.

    Definitely around 28 weeks and after you deliver.  Also, if you have any spotting during your pregnancy, you will need a shot.
