I am feeling good, still on bedrest for another week - but everything is pretty chill at the moment. I just need to keep little J in one more week and my doc says he'll be fine. There are so many projects I want to attack though, so I am going a little stir crazy!!!!
Went off the trebutaline yesterday and started having contractions throughout the day along with cramps, but nothing progressed.
How are you doing? When is your next dr.'s appointment? Are you ready for Nougette to get here soon?
I'm hoping to get this kid out in another week.... maybe they'll end up with the same birthday!
I'm feeling good. Had a few stronger than normal contractions while out and about yesterday - though I'm guess they were just strong BHs. But I told DH that he better be ready for long walks and sex every day. I'm damn serious about this kid being on time or early.
We have an OB appt in a couple hours. I plan to ask her if and when she would strip membranes to get things moving. Our timing with DH being able to stay home for two weeks is a little limited - if she's at all late, it will cut into that time. The doc already said she won't induce until well after my due date (which I absolutely agree with as a rule). So I plan to try every home method there is in the next couple weeks.
Soooooo.....I think I spoke too soon, I've had 7 contractions since 8:22. Dang, this kid REALLY wants out! UGH!
So do you also know about nipple stimulation? Our childbirth instructor said if you have a breast pump, to start pumping to get labor going.....I'm sure you know every trick in the book at this point. I really hope she comes on time or even a week early.....Daddy needs his time with her!!!
*I think Shane is bummed that J might come early, he was really looking forward to the sex marathons to get labor started, (sorry TMI)*
Yeah, I think the only thing I won't be trying is castor oil. Everything else will be on the docket - walks, sex, spicy food, bumpy car rides, nipple stimulation. I hadn't thought of trying the pump. I guess we'll see where the rest of this gets us first.
