Rave: Beringer's new farm in Arlington

We went on Father's Day, and I picked soooo many strawberries. I didn't get more than ten feet in and I had a full flat. They're really tasty too. Hurray for home made strawberry shortcake!

People seemed to have a good time with their toddlers who were absolutely smeared with berry stains on their mouths...Berringer's is cool about letting you dip into the stash before you pay.

Anyway, might be something fun to do while their still in season.

We were just talking about it this weekend, I think we may go up next Saturday.  yummy, homemade jam.

How long is there picking season? Our local U-pick is only open for a week.

They usually last a few weeks...at least until the end of June, but you should call and get updated. Or they have a new blog/website...
