Hi Christina - as I was munching on Fritos this evening I took a look at the ingredients. Just whole corn kernels, corn oil and salt. I also checked to see if the bag said "may contain soy" or the other food warnings and I didn't see any.
Maybe you could eat these? Fritos have a good "crunch factor." Just thought I'd pass it along!
I'm sure you hear this all the time but I think it's just amazing that you're giving up so much to breastfeed. I never judge anyone on their personal preference between bfing and formula, but I think you're providing quite a gift to your son. You should feel very proud of yourself!
Re: **Christina**
THANK YOU & HUGE HUGS to you. You just made my night. I was having such a tough day with this and your post is just the encouragement I needed. Honestly, most days it's not that difficult but today was like a domino effect ... we have no idea what is causing his eczema, it's itching him so much that he's waking up many times, we're exhausted, and I was constantly thinking about what and when I was going to eat next. So, thank you, thank you, thank you for the encouragement. I feel really lucky that I'm able to bf him. It has been quite an experience!
Can you believe that Frito's have so few ingredients? They are a STAPLE of my current diet! Thanks for thinking of me.

How frustrating...poor Ethan! It's cruel that babies feel that itch sensation when they're not coordinated enough to stratch yet. Does being in the sun help it at all?
Keep your head up!
