You know modified isn't that bad. I was on it with my son and I will be joining you at 28 wks this time. The trick is just stay off your feet! If you sew or knit this is a great time to catch up on projects. Hang in there and I'm so glad you all caught this. Terbutiline always made me feel so . GL tonight!

I have been on mod. BR since 26 weeks when I went in for contractions and needed the terb shot. ?I'm trying to take it one day at a time. ?It helps if I have something to look forward to like getting a pizza and having friends over for dinner or planning a meal that sounds delicious and then having my hubby make it ?
Surfing the net and playing games online kept me entertained.
TTC since 7/06, found out about PCOS on 8/31/06

yes- the computer will be your best friend! also, try and read some books and magazines. i am on the turb pump.... not fun, but WAY better than mag! WAY! btw, i did not feel my contractions at first either. i still dont feel half of them. (i have to use an at home contraction monitor 2 times a day)
I got put on BR too when I was having contractions and didn't know it. While it can be tought just remember it won't last forever and it is what's best for the LO's
I was having what I thought were just some BH at 25 weeks but they were happening pretty often so I went in to L&D to get checked out. Turned out I was having pretty decent contractions every 1-2 minutes! I ended up on meds until 36 weeks and bedrest till 36 weeks. Be sure to take good care of yourself!!!
I"m also on modified b/c of contractions at 26 weeks, this is my 4th week of it & it is not so horrible. I try to vary my days. I spent quite some time on the computer every day but I watch movies on some days (Netflix & Roku box are my friends!), read some days, play some online games, and definitely take friends up on offers to stop by & visit and/or bring lunch, that really is nice & breaks up my week. You'll get into a pattern of what to do each morning while you get settled on the couch or wherever & then come up w/ stuff to do.
Weirdly, I find the weekends harder tahn weekdays b/c when MH is home & doing things around the house & running errands, I feel a little guilty & then of course when he is outside or goes to do fun stuff (which I totally encourage), I'm a little jealous. But it is working for me so far- the contrax more or less went away after the 1st week & my cervix is still closed so I'm happy. My mom came this week to help w/ cooking & makign some freezer meals so that is nice too.
