continue prenatal vitamins?

So how long did you continue take your prenatal vitamins? I know it's recommended that you take them while nursing...

I'm almost out of my Rx and I really don't want to get it refilled ($115 for 3m supply) so I'm wondering if I can just go back to my regular vitamin (Centrum) or should I buy some prenatal off the shelf? If off the shelf, recommendations?

DD is 7 months now and eating cereal at 2 meals along with either a fruit or veggie.

All women of "reproductive age" should be taking a multi that includes at least 800mcg of Folic Acid. You know, just in case you get knocked up and don't yet know in those critical early weeks. I finally got tired of getting my script refilled every friggen month (too lazy to do the 3 month mail order). I gots me a 300pill bottle of CVS prenatals. Done.

HEB brand - I think it's like $7 for 100.  And no side effects for me!

I actually like the stuart ones (purple bottle) and there are always 5$ off coupons in prego mags

I take the Target brand prenatals. I like them a lot.
