bug bite relief for a 1 yr old

DS has a bite on his cheek, and it has made his face itchy and swollen.

Is there anything I can give him or apply to relieve the symptoms? ?Would tea tree oil do anything good or harmful for him??

He's 12 months.

if it's really bothering him, i'd call the pedi for a benadryl dosage (mine said 1/2 t for that age).  i have a hylands bite stick that's great!

The pharmacist told me a bit of baking soda in water, apply with a compress. ?It helps a bit. ?

A little lavender EO might help with the sting and pain but it depends on how close to the eye it is.

I would call the dr though.  Benadry helps a ton.
