Best place to buy frames?

I need to buy 8, 8x10 frames and was thinking of going to Michaels. Is there a better place to shop for these?

Re: Best place to buy frames?

  • I went to Aaron Brothers the other day and they had some really nice frames. I don't know the prices but the simple one i bought was reasonable. I'd also recommend Hobby Lobby.

  • Do they have to be super fancy?  I bought some black and cherry wooden frames from WalMart yesterday for $3 each.  They are not fancy by any means.
  • Love, love Aaron Brothers.  They have great selections, good sales and overall good prices.  I buy all my frames there now.
  • Ditto the Aaron Brothers recs...

  • Thanks for the rec to Aaron Bros! I think they have what I need (I just checked out their website). I want to frame the b&w prints of our kids from the pro pics we just had done and want to hang them as your going up our stairs, so I do want them to look nice and come with matting too. So thanks so much!!

Question: the store in RR, where is it exactly?

  • Hobby Lobby almost always has their frames on 50% off. I recently did a photo wall in our house and got all different shapes and sizes there.
  • It's in La Frontera, by Sam's Club (near 35 & 45 intersection).

    Thanks!
  • I usually buy my frames from Hobby Lobby or Michael's.  Aaron Brother's is also running their buy one, get one for a penny sale.  I think it ends sometime in late July.  So plenty of time to stock up on frames.  Smile
