I really like making my own dry laundry detergent, but I'm tired of hand-grating my soap. I want to get an inexpensive food processor. What do you ladies recommend?
I would look on CL for a used one. That is where we got ours.
Personally, I prefer the powder-like soap that the normal blade creates over the shredded cheese-like soap the grater creates, but with the normal blade it is rather violent and makes me think the processor is going to get bashed apart if I just put a quartered bar in there.

Thanks Mystery2B. I didn't even think about making sure it has a grater blade!
