I always feel a little sick when I see that a parent wants to use a product with DEET in it on their LO. Ugh. Anyone else?

    Which part? The adorable itty bitty newborn I used to have or the smiling from ear to ear almost TODDLER that I now have?! :O) Your LO is pretty freaking adorable as well!

    Agree! I would rather use nothing which is what we've done so far. I need some EF bug repellent recs.

    Thanks! Shes pretty cute in both but I am partial to the smiling from ear to ear. I love my boy but I want a girl so bad!

    Yes! My friend has a 3yo and a 3mo and uses bug spray with DEET on both kids! I'm horrified. And she is always complaining that I'm "overprotective" because I won't put any on DD. Super Angry

    Yes, it is just terrible that you don't want to risk your children having seizures or have their nerve cells killed off or cause neurological damage, which are all documented side effects of long-term DEET usage. How dare you!

    I don't even use DEET on me and now I am glad.
