  • zantac works for me. but if you truley have GERD then your doc might have something better for you.

  • Try Zantac. My reflux didn't start until about 32 weeks and it is f'n torture. Also try propping yourself up with pillows at night, lying down seems to aggravate the demon. Good luck Hopefully you ate something and this won't be a constant for the rest of your pregnancy.

  • I would talk to your doctor  but drink LOTS of water and watch your food intake.  Less acid foods. Also, eat 6 small meals a day instead of larger meals.  I had really bad reflux before being pregnant and now ::knock on wood:: it's been a lot better.  Feel better.

  • Thanks.. I'm definately going to try the dried papaya and zantac.  If it doesn't get any better I'm going to call the doctor.

****Hey NewMommy2Be..... I saw the picture of your Boston Terrier in your sig.  Have you had any aggression problems with him/her?  I have a Boston that we're almost definately going to have to find a new home for before the baby comes. He gets really aggressive, especially when he's eating and gone after me, my husband and other people.  We've done training and tried anything else we could think of, nothing helps.  It's breaking my heart to even think of giving him up but I can have my baby in danger.
