12 weeks and 1 day

Am I in my 2nd trimester or do i need to complete the 12th week to be considered 2nd trimester?   I've had a rough start with spotting but has since then stopped.  I can't believe I've come this far.

It depends how you're counting your trimesters. There's the usual 12-week one (so then you'd be in the 2nd tri) or there is TheBump's actual time clock, at which you'd be in 2nd tri at 13 weeks and 3 days.

Most books recognize 2nd tri after 12 weeks. The Bump considers 2nd tri 13w3d. But, you are obviously welcome here whenever you are ready

My book says it's not until 14 weeks. It also says 3rd tri starts at 28 weeks which is a week later than most people here use.
