The women was found passed out in her front yard by her neighbor and she called 911. EMTS gets there and find out she is about to have a baby and one goes "I have never OMG" I would be a little concered at that point lol.
I'm not watching to see what all is going onbut I have to say its been awhile since I was active but when I was in school for becoming an EMT and even when I was out in the field...it was told to us to do everything to keep the baby in till we got to the hospital....
Well, you've got to figure that most EMTs have not delivered a baby themselves. I mean, I know it happens that it comes faster than expected or whatever, but it's not THAT common. Even if they attend a birth as part of their training, or get to do it with one of the training dummies, there's going to be a big difference when it's not a controlled environment.
Funny. I'm an EMT and haven't delivered a baby. They always deliver right before I get there or right after ... DH has delivered a few though. The funny part is .... You're not supposed to say OMG out loud ----- use your in your head voice instead.
I saw one where the woman gave birth on the bathroom floor and the daughter's on the phone with 911 and the father says to her, " tell them I can see the head. What should I do? Should I push it back in untill they get here?" Um... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!!! and even if he was really dumb enough to say that when it happened... why the hell would you admit you said something like that to anyone, especially on TV!!!!!!!!
Re: So I am watching I didn't know I was pg, and what this emt said.....
