I know this is normal in pg- due to the increase in blood volume. But, I have had pretty constant paputations for 20-30 minutes strong. It is not stopping. What do I do?
i have a premature heart beat as well but i have had mine for years now. Just relax and breathe slowly you'll have to force yourself. If that doesnt work shortly you need to cal your doctor
it is scary as it catches you off guard all the time. I always took a xanax lol..now im preg so i have to force it..maybe a bath but if it dont go away soon deff please call your doctor. (BTW I am a EMT)
I agree go see you doctor, I was having the same thing and found out I have diabetes, not gestational, but had before I got pregnant. Seeing your doc will give you peace of mind.
I had the same problem with my last pregnancy and i had to wear a monitor for a few weeks. ?Turned out it was nothing more then just annoying irregular heartbeats. ?That said I have also had extreme rapid heart ?rate (240) which put me in the hospital for testing and monitoring but this was pre-pregnancy. So I always need monitoring if I am having an issue. ?I would definately call your doctor they may want you monitored.?
Re: I'm having terrible heart palputations!
What I have experienced is heart skips. They mostly happen when I'm sitting in an awkward position.
Whether you are experiencing pain or not, your best recourse is to call your doctor.
It feels like I have to force myself to breathe normally. It takes my breathe away... Feels like my heart is flopping around in my chest...
Scary...
and very uncomfortable!
