Iran. Heartbreaking

I made the mistake of watching the youtube videos that the Iranian protestors are uploading. The government has started just killing the protestors- they are killing children. They are killing patients in ambulances on the way to the hospital. Needless to say I'm in tears.

Re: Iran. Heartbreaking

  • It's awful and terrible and heartbreaking.

But I'm glad it's up on youtube, facebook, twitter, etc.. People should know that this is happening.

And I'm glad the people aren't backing down to the Ayatollah. Revolutions are scary, but necessary. Someday, these people will be free. My heart goes out to them. Its so difficult to realize that in this day and age where we are here worrying about RF/FF or breastfeeding vs. formula feeding as our big issues. We often forget that there are other parts of the world in such turmoil and violence.

  • It is really sad and awful.  But I am glad that the images and stories are getting out there.  It's amazing that people have been able to defy the government and get around all the blocks in place to get the information out.

  • i'm iranian and have family over there now.  it's worse than what the media is showing.  all of this had to happen, though...this regime has run iran into the ground.
