I can't believe I made it this far! At around 33.5 and 34 weeks I went to the hospital twice that week to stop contractions. Since then I've been taking it more easy and have made it this far without any other scares! My induction date is Tuesday morning at 6 a.m. Baby B is breech so I am going to try to deliver the first baby vaginally and then have an external version done on the second baby. If it doesn't work, then I will be having a c-section for the second one. I know it may end up that way but that's okay. I figured I would at least try the other way first since the healing time is so much faster for a vaginal birth. I also have a 15 month old at home as well as stairs! I need to get better FAST!
Just had to share this milestone! I'm so grateful.
Re: I am 38 weeks PG today!
congrats! that is AWESOME!
I'm so happy there are so many of us who have made it to 38w lately!!!! There was a period where it seemed everyone was delivering in the 20's... and it made me really nervous. This late 30-weeks trend is fabulous!!!
FWIW- don't worry too much about teh stairs if you do need a c/s ---- I really don't unerstand why they tell you to limit them - i have no problem at all going up or down - just 4 days post surgery. I take it slow- but honestly- it does not hurt or strain my belly at all... We only have one bathroom andi t's upstairs- so thankfully- it's been easy for me b/c otherwise i'd have to live upstairs and that would suck!
If you do get a c/s - just keep up with your meds every 4 hours. yesterday i kept forgetting - and my body would let me know. In the hospital I took the meds less - but being home and dealing with Griffin puts me in more pain- so today i made sure to take it every 4 hours and that helped a LOT.
BEst of luck to you with your induction!!!
Congrats. I was one day shy of 38w when my water broke
Not that I think it will happen for you, but I had a V and Emergency C birth. The recovery really isn't that bad. I have stairs too. I hope you can have the V birth with quick and easy labor.

That's awesome! Congrats!
My Baby B kept flipping around--he was breech quite a bit the third tri, vertex the night before delivery, and then flipped back to breech sometime between then and when Baby A came out. My OB and I had agreed on a breech extraction if that happened, so he was out just 7 mins after his brother!
Good luck on Tuesday! Can't wait to hear all about it!
