? about fitted diapers

do you use special detergent on fitted diapers or can they be washed like other clothes b/c they don't have the PUL. ?

I might be w/o a washer for a bit and will be using a laundromat. ?Do you think i could just wash fitteds with my regular clothes?

ETA: i currently switch btn 7th gen delicate care and ALL F&C. ?

Re: ? about fitted diapers

  • What detergent do you use?

If you use something like Planet, then yes go for it. ?But don't use any softeners or other additives.?

  • Some of the same rules still apply. The reasons some detergents aren't good for diapers have nothing to do with repelling but the enzymes that they have in them which can give babies a horrible rash. But if you're using something generally diaper friendly then it'd be ok (I use Purex F&C on all our diapers and clothes). And skip any softeners of course.

And... you'd just be doing pee-only diapers this way, right? Because poopy diapers in with your clothes is just... ick.
