I am thinking of going with the BG 3.0 but wanted to check if anyone had issues with them being too big for newborns?
Which brands did you have success with for the first few months of age?
PS... the search function (or lack of it here) is so irritating!

Ditto PP that BG won't fit until your baby is older.
The very best advice I could ever give to a new mom is to use one of the CD trials, like the ones that Jillian's Drawers offers. Every baby is different and different diapers work better then others for that particular baby. I would hate to see you get your heart (and pocketbook) set on one type of diaper and not have it work for you guys.
ditto this. We did NOT do a trial. We started CD on DS when he was around 15 months old and his stash is split in third between BG 3.0s, Mommy's Touch OS ( I don't rec these ), and half a dozen prefolds. I don't like the prefolds on him since he's so mobile, but they come in handy, the pockets are the best for him personally 90% of the time so we lucked out. For DD though, I prefer fitteds/prefolds on her. So, you see, it varies for every kid
We are using PF right now for DD. Get snappis for sure. We are using pins and I can't wait until the snappi's I ordered come. Multiple night time changes using pins SUCK!
