Today is my 30th birthday! Do you know what I am doing?

• listening to a screaming baby
• watching the rain outside
• doing laundry
• enter mystery shopping info
• trying to decide when to go to my dad's to get the hammock that DH is getting for Father's Day, then I want to set it up in the morning before he gets up
  

So this is what moms really do on their birthdays? Yuck!

Oh well, it is better than being at work!

I love my birthday-date.  My dad always used to tease me that it was the longest day of the year (which, obviously, it is the day with the most sunlight), because I was born breech.  Vaginally.  eep.  

I used to love sharing my birthday with Father's Day.  But, now that dad has passed, it's really bittersweet.  I think tomorrow might be a rough day for me.  

Ok...crying now...need happy thoughts...
