Babies on the Brain

Happy, but sad

Tomorrow a family is coming to meet our foster boxer, Sidney.  They were supposed to come next Friday, but heard someone else was interested in Sidney (I'm not sure where they got this info from!) and decided to make the 362 mile trip tomorrow!!  It would have to be a freak of nature for them not to adopt her after that long trip, with how incredibly sweet and fun she is.  They're bringing their current male boxer and hopefully everyone gets along.  I am excited but sad at the same time.  We've only had her about a month or so and she's been a joy to us.  This is the hard part about fostering - saying goodbye.  I just have to keep telling myself - if I don't let her go to her forever home, where will the next foster dog go?  If we adopted her, we'd definitely be at our capacity!  Saying goodbye means another spot for another dog in need.  ::Sigh:: I hope things go well tomorrow and she finally gets her special family who will love her always.
