I look at a diaper bag the same way I do a purse. If you want a nice one you need to spend a little bit of money. I spent $100, which truthfully I don't feel is very expensive. A diaper bag you will use A TON and I wanted something durable and that I loved. Here is mine.
I got one at target that is the classic winnie the pooh (Tan and brown)-29.99. It's really cute and well made. Lots of pockets and an insulated bottle bag. I also got another smaller one that matches the gracco travel system be got-27.99. It is also well made.?

Is that the Rowdy one? We got it for my sister when her baby was born in a different color. She absolutely LOVES it and nobody believes it's a diaper bag because it looks like a purse.

Yes it is. It looks just like a purse, that's what sold me!
It's slightly above your price point, but probably cheaper in the US (everything is). I read a bunch of reviews of various diaper bags and all columbia bags had great reviews.

Land's End zip-top tote. I forget if it's the medium or large and it's at daycare with DD right now so I can't measure.
Less than $50 including shipping and having her name embroidered on it.
No stupid pockets with insulation (which are SO hard to clean), no flaps you have to lift up, and tons of room. All other accessories can be purchased seperately. Can be used for years and years after it's done with diaper duty. Perfect!
Ok I'm going to be the lame one that goes over budget, but it's only $59 and I absolutely love it! Way cute patterns too, and its cavernous. It also has a shoulder strap which is a must for me, need both hands with a baby!

I looked at a ton of diaper bags, everywhere from Walmart to Zellers (like Target, but Cdn) and BRU. The one I ended up choosing is...
