So, today my MIL went to my checkup appointment with me and then took me shoppin for the baby

We went to Sams Club and she bought a HUGE starter box of diapers and value size baby wash. Then we went to BRU and she went nuts!! She spent $$$ on clothes, blankets, socks, sleepers, etc. THEN we went to JC Penny and she spent $$ on more clothes and bibs. I thought she was going to keep most of it and give it to me as a shower gift but she gave it all to me now! Can you believe it?!? I just had to take a minute and brag on my wonderful MIL. My mom lives an hour and a half away so I am very lucky to have a MIL like mine.
Re: Wonderful MIL
My MIL is also wonderful. She got 5-6 bags of clothes (granted, for free) but she's laundering them and folding/hanging up and buying the storage containers for us. She's also searching for whatever we need as well.
We don't get along 100% on raising this baby.. and it's hard for her to understand why I don't want/can't use a baby carrier, etc but she is still super supportive!
I'm glad yours is so great and will go with you to appointments!

it's nice to see a brag about a MIL from time to time.. especially when there are so many nightmares!
and that's awesome that you got all those things.. you should take her out for desert or something sweet.
