My husband really wants me to do this (as hes heard it can be good for babies brains), but I have no idea where to start. I know of a couple composers, but not sure what to try first as there are hundreds of cds at my local library to choose from. Any cd recommendations? Thanks!

Re: Anyone listening to classical music?
Talking to a music major, so yeah, I love classical.
For a dramatic selection Mahler is nice. Try some things you already know, Swan Lake, Nutcracker Suite, etc. Nothing wrong with the classics! Carmina Burana's music is nice, if you can find the instrumental version, or don't mind opera as well.

Do you use the Birmingham Library or Bloomfield Twp on Telegraph?
If you go to the latter, I just returned Beatles for babies, and it is pretty good. You should check it out! It's classical versions of Beatles tunes for the wee ones (no words) Plus, you can pre-order stuff online so it's just ready for pickup. (I am obsessed with the library now that they've updated it)
PS- The Detroit Bumpies are all getting together next Thursday- you should come!
