Today was our company's annual BBQ lunch. We were able to get water and soda for free thanks to DH. Most everyone was thankful for it and came forawrd to tell me to thank him on their behalf, except for this one co-irker. As we were eating, she turned to me and said "So... nice advertising we're doing for your husband" referring to the fact that everyone had a drink in hand.
I was like WTF????? My husband is not getting ANYTHING out of this. He went and asked for it as a personal favor. We don't even sell his products in our vending machines and I've NEVER pushed for them either. He just did this because he's a nice guy and he wanted to help out. How about a little "Thank you" instead? Of course, I was too nice to actually say that, so I just replied "I think it was very nice of him to go out of his way to get all of this for us".

Re: Dear co-irker - STFU
This...Grrrrrrrrr
Within the last couple of weeks I seem to have lost that "filter" that most people have not to say what they are feeling, and let things slide. To your co-irker I probably would have said, "well, then I will just take your drink and you can suffer or use the drinking fountain." Then, after I've opened my mouth, would I realize that I should have just kept quiet. Sounds like she is royal b!!tch.
He wasn't asking them to wear tshirts and march around with the sodas.
That was very nice of your dh. too bad people can't say two words only "Thank you"
Thanks ladies - Sometimes I wish I didn't have a filter... It would have felt good to just rip that can out of her hands and tell her to go buy her own damn drink.
Oh well, I guess I can always focus on the fact that everyone else actually WAS thankful.
EXACTLY! I was just explaining to someone how my filter is letting more things get from my brain to my mouth.
