Thirsties FAIL

We are trying the Jillian's Drawers trial. I've been really, really happy with all the of the diapers we've gotten so far except for the Thirsties diaper last night. DD is really not a heavy wetter, but I had her in the Thirsties Fab Fitted with the Thirsties cover. She woke up with pee leaking out of the top, and both sides. All over her pjs. This is the first cloth she's leaked out of so I'm chalking it up to the Thirsties. Back they go!

We love love love our Thirsties covers, but for daytime.  I've never tried them overnight.

I love my covers but dont have the fitteds.  Maybe it was the diaper not the cover?  Have you tried the cover on another diaper and the diaper with another cover and does it work?  This might help you decide which one is the problem

Oh yeah we also dont use the covers at night.  My DS is a heavy wetter.

It was the fitted...the whole thing was just a big, pee-filled mess, and it shifted around during the night, it looks like. I haven't tried the cover with another diaper, though. I am a much bigger fan of the BG 3.0 pockets and, for the price, I think I am going to go with those.

Agreed...I wouldn't trust the fab fitteds for overnight.  Then again, pretty much no CD works for DS overnight.  I really like both the fitted and the cover, but they are for short term use for us.  One pee & it would be soaked.

This is kind of how I feel about them too.  We only have 1 fitted and it gets daytime at home use only because it is soaked in minutes.  My covers are great for all the time use though.  And yes BG are our fave too.
