Out of six covers for my newborn stash, how many should be white? Does it really matter? I was so excited about my order that I E-mailed everyone that thinks CDing is going to be a big fat fail for us. And my step mom asked why I wanted other colors besides white since "white goes with everything." She is also the woman that wants to put my son in "man dresses" as DH calls the little light blue smocked outfits that I have no interest in. She doesn't think babies need to wear anything besides white, light blue, pale yellow and other very muted colors. MOST of what we have are BRIGHT blues, red, browns, oranges... sooo MY thinking was that a red diaper and an orange diaper are perfect. I think I only own 2-3 outfits that would require a white diaper (since they're a little see through).
I bought two whites and a light blue- the rest are bright.
Re: How many white covers?
I would say none should be white
)
So since you already have 2, good to go lol?
11 months
I don't have a single white cover currently. I am getting one for her baptism, though.
Virtually all the time her diaper is covered by a onesie, so the color doesn't really matter, but I like having bright ones, too
^^ This! I like my covers fun! I think two would be plenty. If you're trying to match it to clothes you won't have to worry much with a boy because pants will always cover it. Sort of like worrying about whether your underwear matches your jeans.
And if you're going diaper and shirt only - you want to see the cuteness!
Perhaps he needs some smocked CDs to go with his mandresses?
**snort**
;-)
she should get together with my mom - ugh
I thought I was the only one with white... he's outgrown 2 white thirsties replaced by bright colors bc I have three white BG (bought bf he was born) and three white fuzibunz (on sale in white only).
If anyone had told me that they wouldn't use CDs when babysitting or whatnot, I would have told them that they would not be babysitting, then. Not because of the sposies, per se, but because anyone that blatantly refuses to support our parenting decisions wouldn't ever be alone with my daughter. It isn't like the CDs are going to cause the baby harm, so I wouldn't tolerate it.
I think that sounds b!tchier than I mean it, so I hope you get the idea.
