YAY!!! uncle was just on the news!

my uncle is in the new Johnny Depp/Christian Bale movie, Public Enemies, and they premiered the movie in Chicago tonight. They just showed the premiere on the news and I saw my uncle. Woohoo!!! 

 

ps - here's the trailer if you want to see. my uncle is the cop that knocks down johnny depp's door, hits him with a gun, and tells marion cotillard  to "put on some clothes"

    Very cool! I used to know a guy from our church who was an extra in tons of movies, like The Jackal and My Best Friend's Wedding.  So fun!

    I live in Uptown, next door to the Riv and they filmed quite a bit of this movie at the Bridgeview Bank bldg, and the Borders right across the street from us.  They had Racine blocked off for a week, and we could see right into the Borders when they were filming at night.  It was neat to see the changes they made to the bank bldg. to make it more appropriate for the 20's!  They took down this HUGE chandelier.
