Explain to me how my friend and I had our last periods at the same time (1 day apart) and our babies measure the EXACT SAME on ultrasounds taken on the same day, yet she's some how 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ahead of me?

THAT is definitely weird! Did you ovulate late in your cycle or something? Still weird though because you measure the same...strange.

it just doesn't make sense!! I know the due date is set by the doc based on LMP but don't you think measurements would come into play eventually if it was off?
Um...you're talking about me. Yeah, I just went back and realized I'm two weeks ahead of the other person. I know my due date is the 28th, can't speak for the other chick.
I know some women with twins or triplets have their ticker "countdown" the number of weeks/days left till their 38 week goal, but this in turn (if you count UP) makes them seeeeem 2 weeks ahead of where they actually are.

I'm further along than you and my due date is the 27th. I have noticed that even based on your LMP, sometimes different tools give you 1-3 days discrepancy. Some places I was looking were telling me the 26th, I went with what my doctor told me.

That is what I was thinking. LMP vs. ovulation. That could change it by a couple days.

My friend's due date was exactly 4 weeks after mine- after her fist dr visit, he moved it up because her cycles are less than 28 days.
It was my first hormone moment. I cried because her baby was catching up to mine and that mine wasn't "advanced" like hers.
(I don't honestly feel that way, btw. Plus, now we know we're having twins so my due date will be sooner.)
