Does anyone know if the older Cricut machine will cut vinyl lettering?  I know the Cricut Expressions will so I would assume the other one can but i don't want to try it and mess up the blade or something.

    The older Cricut will cut vinyl if you have the deep cut blade. I think you have to purchase the deep cut blade housing, and then the blade seperately. I can't remember exactly how much it is, but it would probably be worth the money. I've been thinking about getting on myself!

    I don't have a cricut (I wish!) but they were on sale for $99 at Robert's last weekend so my sister went and got one.  

    Now we want to do vinyl lettering for the babies room and I'm really excited tha we can use her machine for it!
